Company A offers a 5% discount, which is great, but what if company B offers 8%, 10% or more? Nothing is more frustrating than buying a wetsuit then seeing the same item is being sold at a lower price. By comparing the prices, you’ll be able to see where you can save the most money.
Make sure that when you match up wetsuit discounts, they are of the same class. That is, they have the same features. Do not compare the discounts of a high performance wetsuit with an entry level type.

Shopping online offers maximum savings. You can see the discounted prices with a few mouse clicks. You can go from one online store to another with ease. Buying an item is also just a point and click affair.

Some items are discounted because they are second hand or old stock. If you want to buy this stuff, make sure the item is still in good condition. While the wetsuit discounts may be large, ask yourself if it is worth it.
If the item is in good condition, you could get it for a real bargain. But do not buy it if the suit is worn out or has any type of defect. Don’t even think about trying to have it repaired; the cost of the purchase plus the repair will probably be worth a new wetsuit.
What Makes for a Good Wetsuit?
Discounted or not, the wetsuit must still meet certain specifications. These include being thick enough (3/2mm is the standard), having flatlock seams and lining. The best lining is made of titanium. Additional features to look for are protection capabilities (i.e., against UV).
There is more to buying wetsuit discounts than people may realize. Where you buy, the type of wetsuit and the features of the suit all have to be considered. If you take these into account, you will get a bargain.
